Mainova – NTT Data Center
The Goal
Waste heat from the data center supplies an entire residential neighborhood with heat, serving more than 600 households.
The path it takes runs from the server room through large-scale heat pumps into the district heating network, and almost all of it sits behind facades and below ground.
Mainova needed one image for its project communication that makes that path easy to follow, for press, the public and project partners.
The graphic is part of the project's public communication and has been used in the press releases of Mainova and NTT DATA:
Alongside the graphic, a video shows step by step how the heat travels from the server room into the houses. Both were produced for a German audience.
